ALEP is the only national association exclusively dedicated to Local Accommodation (AL) in Portugal. Founded in 2015, it is a non-profit entity that represents the local accommodation sector before public entities, official bodies, and academia. In 2018, ALEP received the Silver Grade Tourism Merit Medal from the Portuguese Ministry of Economy for relevant services to Portuguese tourism. The association provides advocacy, insurance services, legal and fiscal support, training, events, and exclusive benefits to its members. Local accommodation represents approximately 42% of tourist overnight stays in Portugal.

APARTUR (Associació d'Apartaments Turístics de Barcelona) is the trade association representing the tourist apartment and short-term rental sector in the province of Barcelona, Spain. Founded on November 15, 2004, it is a non-profit organization that serves as the primary voice for legal tourist accommodation in one of Europe's most regulated STR markets. The association brings together more than 260 companies and professionals — including rental agencies and individual apartment owners — who collectively represent over 7,000 legal tourist apartments, approximately 73% of Barcelona's legalized supply. The sector generates approximately 5,000 direct jobs. APARTUR provides its members with institutional representation and political advocacy, legal and regulatory advice, ongoing training programs, networking events, quality certifications, promotional support through its website and trade fair participation, and exclusive agreements with service providers. The association actively campaigns against illegal tourist accommodation and advocates for balanced regulation that supports legal operators. In 2006, APARTUR co-founded FEDERATUR (Federación Catalana de Apartamentos Turísticos), the Catalan federation of tourist apartment associations, alongside sister associations from Girona (ATA) and Tarragona (ATT). APARTUR's president is Enrique Alcántara.

Founded in 1978, the Association of Scotland's Self-Caterers (ASSC) is the only trade body dedicated to protecting and promoting Scotland's self-catering sector. With over 1,700 members operating tens of thousands of self-catering properties across Scotland — from city centre apartments to rural cottages, lodges, glamping pods, and castles — the ASSC is a not-for-profit organisation run by and for owners and operators. Founding member of the European Holiday Homes Association (EHHA) and member of the Scottish Tourism Alliance Council.

AVVAPRO es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro formada por empresas, plataformas, gestores y particulares dedicados a la gestión de viviendas y apartamentos turísticos en Andalucía. Representa a más de 9.000 viviendas turísticas y cerca de 45.000 plazas de alojamiento en las ocho provincias andaluzas. Ejerce la defensa y promoción activa de los intereses del sector, ofrece asesoramiento legal a sus miembros y mantiene un Club Proveedor con servicios en condiciones ventajosas. Es miembro de FEVITUR, EHHA, CEA y el Foro del Turismo de la Costa del Sol.
