Founded on November 15, 2004, it is a non-profit organization that serves as the primary voice for legal tourist accommodation in one of Europe's most regulated STR markets. The association brings together more than 260 companies and professionals — including rental agencies and individual apartment owners — who collectively represent over 7,000 legal tourist apartments, approximately 73% of Barcelona's legalized supply. The sector generates approximately 5,000 direct jobs.
